The Legend of Zelda is Here

The wait is over Nintendo Switch-players! The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has arrived! How are you loving it?

The Legend of Zelda debuted in 1986. The groundbreaking action play was never seen before, and ever since, the fanbase has been very committed to the Zelda franchise.

Tears of the Kingdom was born after the demand for downloadable content for its predecessor, Breath of the Wild. However, it’s been revealed that the developers have been working on it since the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in 2017. And, if you spent long hours playing Breath of the Wild, you’ll likely spend twice as much time playing Tears of the Kingdom.

Nintendo’s Entertainment Planning and Development division teased us twice! Once, back in 2019 at E3, and again in 2021. Like many other game publishers, the release date was moved from 2022 to 2023.

When the Japanese game designer, Eiji Aonuma, announced the completion of the game on March 28, 2023, he also showcased new game features such as the recall ability, which reverses time, and the ascend ability, which allows players to travel through ceilings.

The final trailer was released on April 13th, and Twitter lost it! This game is highly anticipated, and Nintendo Switch gamers are preparing for extreme gaming sessions and all-nighters. Metacritic already foresees this game to score highly in ranking, just like Breath of the Wild.

Nintendo is great at keeping secrets, so the gameplay experience is a bit of a mystery. Besides the features Eiji Aonuma revealed, here’s what we do know.

This action-adventure game has an open-world map in Hyrule, the universe of The Legend of Zelda. In the new launch, the map is expanded for even more exploration.

The storyline is a spinoff of its predecessor. The protagonist, Link, is joined by Zelda, and they take on the malevolent force that wants to destroy Hyrule, which they must fight and protect.

So gear up like a pro you are by setting up the perfect gaming setup. Nintendo Switch thumb grips are available for both Joy-Con and Pro controllers to improve your accuracy, comfort, and control.Controller grips prevent slipping when your hands get sweaty, so you can explore Hyrule in comfort and style.

Don’t let your sweaty thumbs ruin your gaming experience! Revolutionary switch thumb grips engineered with gecko-inspired fibers can outperform conventional thumbstick grips. Enjoy your new game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom! Ready, set, game!
